About Us
Well to be polite, I think we had better tell you who we are!
Andy
The 3rd member of the band to join. Andy supplies the vocals. He's a Liverpudlian by birth, yet has not a single hubcap or shellsuit to his name. He's 36 years old and lives with long suffering partner Cassie in the sleepy village of Kingston Bagpuize in Oxfordshire. He tries to keep the Banbury lads in order, and acts as a calming influence at band practice when the guitar section wind up Steve the drummer with renditions of the theme tune to Rainbow. The constant threat of a drum machine is ever present. (Do they do them in Ginger?)
Paul
The newest (and oldest) member of our fourpiece, Paul joined the band when Mark left the UK to work overseas. Had his first gig in Bicester in May 2006 and was a great success for the band. So welcome Paul! (As we have no pictures up of the said man in action yet, hes the grey haired old git with the denim jacket on!)
Slasher
Just to make this clear, this is not a reference to Guns n Roses. Slashers real name is Cedric, ok ok, its not really its Andy. We couldn't have two, ones plently believe me. The first time we practiced in Banbury as a four piece, he has his car tyres slashed, and, Slasher was born. Has a greeeaatt Leancashare accent (pie, peas, ferrets etc) Has a tendency to take several minutes to change from his Strat to his Gibson in the middle of gigs, much to everyone's frustration! Top notch with a six string in his hand and wows the crowd with his solos.
Steve
And so to our Steve. He's big, and Ginger, and LOUD. This guy makes Animal from the muppets look like a care bear. He plays pretty quick too! Gets wound up by us a lot though, knows FULL WELL a drum machine is not an option. Steve like Mark and Slasher, is a Banbury lad and lives with The lovely Julie. |
